I love that you used to have crisps and biscuits for breakfast. a smoothie is so much more predictable 😉

In reply to Maria @ Maria Runs. I've had a lot of scam phone calls this week, they always seem to happen when I'm on the phone to someone at work. The timing of these calls is getting spooky. I love the idea of a whistle but most of the spammy calls I receive seem to be automated. Seeing Nan blow the whistle down the phone was funny. I'm considering getting rid of my landline. I may investigate a more hi-tech doorbell, I like the idea of being able to see who is at the door. Ohhh, home made waffles sound amazing. I have been thinking about getting a toastie maker but I seem to remember them being hard to clean.

I LOVE the idea of a whistle! I don’t get too many people calling- we don’t have a landline, and usually my phone is on silent anyway so I don’t hear it ring. I get the odd call but nothing too bad. And now we have a doorbell with a video so we can see who is there if we need to- its very handy.
I would probably say the waffle iron was the best purchase, although it was for my birthday so not technically lockdown!
