Disclaimer

I think it’s important for me to highlight that I’m a hydrologist and not a fitness or a medical professional. Everything that I write about on this blog is based on my own personal experiences. If you are about to start running and you’re new to fitness, please get checked out by your doctor or another health professional.

Disclosure

The PhD Runner is a personal blog and is written and maintained by me. This blog started back in 2013 as a way of documenting and sharing my running journey. Unless otherwise specified, all posts are written and edited by me. All opinions and terrible photos are most definitely my own.

I personally believe that disclosure really matters.

From time to time I may talk about and share links to products I use. The vast majority of the time these will be products that I have purchased with my own money, usually from Lululemon and TK Maxx.

Whenever I review a product for a brand I will state that the post is a product review or collaboration. I will always disclose when I was provided a product or race entry for free in return for a blog post.

I’m not going to lie, I do love a freebie, but I only accept items that I feel fit my blog. I’m not going to start reviewing scented candles and baby clothes. Much as I’d love to give up my day job, I don’t want this blog to turn into a series of sponsored posts and product reviews.

Occasionally I’ll be financially compensated for writing a product review. When this is the case, the post will be clearly marked as being a sponsored post.

Review Posts

For examples of some of my collaborations with brands, please take a look at the following posts:

  • SOLE – SOLE Active Medium Footbed review (review of SOLE Active Medium footbeds)
  • Supacore Compression – Supacore Compression performance wear review (review of three items from the Supacore Compression range)
  • 10 years of MoRunning – enter a 2019 MoRun and be part of the celebrations (post written in collaboration with MoRunning)
  • Greens Best – Greens Best Berries Best Antioxidant review (review of Greens Best Berries antioxidant)
  • Superfeet – Superfeet RUN Pain Relief insoles review (review of Superfeet RUN Pain Relief Insoles)

Please feel free to contact me to discuss how we could work together by email eneachell [at] hotmail [dot] com or via the ‘Contact Me’ page.

Although I love talking about running, I also love writing about running!
