After the weather on Day 26 of Juneathon was wet and gloomy, I’m really looking forward to some hot and more summerlike weather next week #bringiton
I decided to ignore the heavy rain and successfully completed my first post blood donation run-walk-run. As I’m a genius I headed out the door at midday and rapidly discovered that although it was very wet, it was also very humid.
Why is running when it’s humid so difficult?
According to Gary the Garmin I ran/walked 3.18 km in 20 minutes. I managed to overcome the urge to carry on running until I reached 2 miles #lazyrunner
If my sums are correct, I *think* that this run brought my June total to more than 39 km. With a few days to go this represents the furthest distance I‘ve run in a month for ages.
Saturday will be filled with some overdue housework related #slactivities
Cumulative Juneathon Distance 39.24 km
