The Tip Club’s 21 Best Running Blogs Created for Women by Women 2020

I’m not going to lie; I’ve recently spent a lot of time thinking about the future of this blog. When I weighed up the pros and cons of continuing, the pros just about outweighed the cons. Although I love writing and find it a great way of unwinding when I’ve finished work, I’d started to wonder if I was wasting valuable time writing and publishing content that would only be read by a handful of people. I was also concerned that my content was getting predictable and boring.

Last week I received an email that made me decide to continue sharing my running-related thoughts and random life-related updates for a little longer. I found out that The PhD Runner had been featured in the Tip Club’s 21 Best Running Blogs Created for Women by Women.

“Follow Emma’s blog and her running journey as she collects medals, takes on new running challenges, and reports back to you. She keeps it real with consistent updates, and you can count on her for honest accounts of what it’s like to train for a race, succeed, and get injured.”

The complete Top 21 is available here.

I always love checking out these lists, not because my blog is featured but because they always seem to introduce me to amazing running blogs I wasn’t aware existed.

So, thanks again to Julia for your kind words and for giving me a reason to continue blogging.

What type of content would you like to see on this blog? It’s been a while since I last shared a life update so I’ve drafted out a ‘Life Lately’ post.

    Congratulations!
I like blogs that keep things real- the rants and raves always make me laugh and also nod in agreement!
