Juneathon Day 19

As my stomach continued to feel more than a little bit dodgy, Day 19 of the Juneathon challenge included the following ‘slactivities’

I have invented a new word for us slackers to describe #juneathon excuses. They will be known from now on as 'slactivities'.

  • Mowing a lawn that is smaller than the size of a paddling pool
  • Walking to and from the local chemists to collect my prescription
  • Watering some plants
  • Sleeping
  • Watching the T20 cricket on Sky

I discovered that that the trail tip for first time trail runners I tweeted to Women’s Running earlier in the week had won me a free t-shirt from BUFF.

I just need to win some Brooks Adrenalines, some trail shoes and entry into the Great Birmingham Run and then my running wish list will be sorted.  A runner can always dream and enter loads of competitions!
